Swim Lesson Information

In addition to our group swim lessons, we offer a wide variety of semi-private and private lessons to fit your scheduling needs.

They are a great way to get the personal attention and one-on-one instruction.

The Basics:
Lessons are for children as young as 2 through seniors.
Private/Semi Private Lessons are 30 minutes in length.
Online registration for semi-private or private lessons is NOT available. You may fax, mail-in or drop off your Registration Form for classes within our regular swim lesson program.
They are offered everyday except Fridays and can be scheduled alongside our regular lesson program or at a custom time slot.
Registration for semi-private lessons will only be accepted if two students register together and are of similar swim ability.
We will always try to accommodate instructor requests but, a specific instructor or gender of instructor can only be guaranteed when signing up for custom lessons. You will be charged the full refund/cancelation fee if you withdraw from lessons because of an instructor issue.
If you need lane space for your lesson, it is up to you to notify the Aquatics Coordinator or Recreation Supervisor.
If you need/want a specific instructor or gender of instructor or your schedule does not allow for enrollment in one of our regularly scheduled semi-private/private lessons, you must request Custom Private Lessons.

Custom Private Lessons: Cost is $35/lesson for private and $25/lesson per child for semiprivate
