The City Attorney is appointed by the City Council to provide legal guidance concerning city operations and represent the City in matters of litigation.

The Mill Valley Fire Department staff of approximately 28, and Southern Marin Fire District staff of approximately 57, including sworn, volunteer and civilian personnel, are proud to provide services to the community of Mill Valley and Southern Marin Fire District areas in a caring and professional manner.

Our goal is to operate, maintain and manage the SASM Wastewater Treatment, Reclamation and Disposal Facilities in an efficient, cost-effective and well-planned manner in order to protect our water environment.
