Housing Advisory Committee
The Housing Advisory Committee was assembled in 2017 by City Council is to assist staff and serve as an advisory body on matters related to the Mill Valley Housing Element and the Affordable Housing Ordinance. This mission coincides with the two overarching General Plan goals of protecting and enhancing the natural beauty and small-town character of Mill Valley (Goal #1) while also encouraging the continued diversity of housing, income levels and lifestyles within the community (Goal #2).

Previous Meetings:
June 21, 2021 City Council Meeting. To consider next steps towards building a 100% affordable housing project (of approximately 40 units) at 1 Hamilton Drive, including issuing a Request for Qualifications to solicit interest from non-profit mission driven institutions to partner with the City and the Mill Valley community. If a non-profit developer is identified and selected, more detailed site planning and project design will be developed with the community, followed by public hearings.
