The Mill Valley Zoning Administrator meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the City Hall Council Chambers. Agendas are typically available one week before the meeting.

1. 54 Hazel Avenue– Tree Permit – PL22-5136 (Johnson)

Tree Removal Permit application to remove two unsafe coast redwood trees. Both of the subject trees have been determined to threaten the integrity of the home. Tree 1 with a tree trunk diameter of 28.5 inches does not meet the definition of a Heritage tree and will not require approval to proceed with removal. Tree 2 has a tree trunk diameter of 36 inches. and has been confirmed by a certified arborist to be the cause of structural damage to the residence, demonstrates significant decay; and presents a high failure risk. The proposed project has been determined to be categorically exempt from environmental review under Sections 15301 and 15304 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.
