Due to a temporary power shutdown, the SASM Wastewater Treatment Plant began a partial bypass of the secondary treatment process at 5:15 AM on July 20, 2022. Once the power was restored at 5:39 AM on the same day, the partial bypass ended. All sampling/analysis was completed to verify no untreated or raw wastewater will exit the plant without proper disinfection.
