Help recycle Halloween candy wrappers or donate candy

Happy Halloween!Sink your fangs into this one: 600 million pounds of individually wrapped candy are purchased each year in the US for Halloween: That's spooky!

Recycle Halloween Wrappers: If you aren't ready to turn out the lights on trick or treaters but dread the scattered  candy wrappers everywhere, here's a solution.  This Halloween, get your neighborhood to chip in and help recycle those pesky candy wrappers LINK) through mail-in wrapper recycle programs. Ask your school or community organization to host a collection box for candy wrappers (LINK).

Keep Halloween trash out of our ocean and landfills, and let the goblins and ghouls have their candy and eat it too!

Donate Halloween Candy: Operation Shoe Box (LINK) sends 350-400 packages to US troops a week and each package includes candy.  Ship candy to: 8360 E Highway 25, Belleview, Florida 34420
