Southern Marin Fire District would like to notify residents of the upcoming CalTrans Vegetation Management Project at E Blithedale Ave and US-101 S ramp. CalTranswill be clearing hazardous vegetation along E Blithedale Ave and US-101 S ramp in efforts to reduce fire risk along their right-of-way.
The project will take place from October 24th through November 18th, from 10am - 4pm. Beginning October 31st, E Blithedale Ave and US-101 S ramp will be closed due to the work. There will be no weekend work. Please plan accordingly to accommodate any delays by taking alternative routes.
Detour due to E. Blithedale Avenue on-ramp closure
- From E. Blithedale Avenue, take the US-101 north on-ramp
- Drive north about three miles
- Take the off-ramp for Paradise/Tamalpais Drive in Corte Madera
- Take the on-ramp for US-101 south
