Southern Marin Fire District would like to notify residents of the upcoming CalTrans Vegetation Management Project at E Blithedale Ave and US-101 S ramp. CalTranswill be clearing hazardous vegetation along E Blithedale Ave and US-101 S ramp in efforts to reduce fire risk along their right-of-way.
Revised Dates As Of October 28, 2022:
There is a scheduled on-ramp closure for E. Blithedale Avenue for US-101 south from Monday, October 31 through Friday, November 4. The work will continue Monday, November 7 through Wednesday, November 9. There will not be any work done on Thursday, November 10 or Friday, November 11. The work will continue Monday, November 14 through Friday, November 18. All times are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Caltrans will work to take any opportunities to reduce closure dates and duration as the project progresses.
CMS signs will be on site to let drivers know about the upcoming work.
Detour due to E. Blithedale Avenue on-ramp closure
- From E. Blithedale Avenue, take the US-101 north on-ramp
- Drive north about three miles
- Take the off-ramp for Paradise/Tamalpais Drive in Corte Madera
- Take the on-ramp for US-101 south
