As many of you know, Sycamore Village is a very popular tick-or-treat location on Halloween. In an effort to enhance pedestrian safety, just like previous years, we will be closing Sycamore Avenue between Park Avenue and Valley Circle to vehicle traffic during the evening of Halloween.
This closure of Sycamore Avenue will take place between 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday, October 31st.
We will have officers staged in multiple areas of the closure throughout the evening. Our officers will be available to assist if there is a need for Fire/Medics to access a residence or location inside the closure.
Please anticipate the closure and place your vehicle on a side street if you know you need to come and go that evening. If you live inside the closure, please do not move your vehicle along the roadway during this time frame as people will most likely be in the roadway during these hours.
