What Is Happenidowntown_signsng: March 13th Through March 24th (Weather Delay Expected):

Depending on the effect of the rainstorm, Interstate Paving and Grading Inc. will work on:

  • Throckmorton Median Island at Lytton Square form and pour concrete for median curb, and asphalt plug along the new curb.
  • Northeast Corner Throckmorton and Bernard demo the existing curb ramp and sidewalk, form and pour concrete for the new ADA bulb out.
  • Eastside of Miller Avenue at the Depot Plaza, demo and replace ADA concrete ramp.
  • Relocate Granite Rocks from Lytton Square Median to Old Mill Park, rocks will be moved to Old Mill Park to help save the redwood trees in the median, by providing enough room to grow/accept water.

Downtown Parking and Traffic During Construction

During this work, there will be occasional lane closure and one-way traffic control with flagmen.

Temp No Parking Signs will be posted around the construction area to allow the contractor to demo, remove, off-haul the existing sidewalks, and pour new concrete sidewalks.

No traffic detour or road closure is expected during this phase of the project.

Updates will be posted as more information becomes available. Work progression is weather dependent.
