Help Shape the Future of Parks and Preserves
Marin County Parks has launched a 2021 Community Survey to get feedback from Marin County residents and visitors. This survey is completely anonymous and is available to take in either English or Spanish. It will only take about 10 minutes to complete with the questions covering three main categories:
- How well do you know your parks and preserves?
- How should Parks budget dollars be spent?
- What other thoughts and suggestions would you like to share?

In 2012, Marin County voters approved Measure A to fund conservation, wildland fire fuel reduction and vegetation management, deferred maintenance in parks, road and trail improvements in open spaces, and projects that protect the natural beauty of Marin. Parks is working to address emerging new challenges, like more frequent wildfires and rising sea levels caused by a warming climate. We also continue moving forward with the daily work of taking care of what we have. This survey will help guide decision making as we work together with the local community on protecting and preserving the lands that make Marin a special place.
