The Project Team has successfully completed paving East Blithedale Avenue and expects completion of construction in early August.
Work crews will continue with alternating one-way traffic control between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
We still urge motorists to avoid East Blithedale Avenue - use Camino Alto and Miller Avenue to avoid the construction area and personal delays. Please plan ahead, leave plenty of time to safely reach your destination, and follow posted speed limits and traffic controls.

What Is Happening This Upcoming Week: July 10th
- East Blithedale Avenue Rehabilitation: Carmelita Avenue to Amitica Avenue – One crew will be raising manholes to the new pavement grade. Another crew will be laying out the striping.
What Is Happening the Following Week: July 17th.
- East Blithedale Avenue Rehabilitation: Argonaut Constructors will begin painting red curbs and striping the roadway from Carmelita Avenue to Amitica Avenue.
