Within the last month, the Mill Valley Police Department has had the pleasure in welcoming 3 new police officers. 2 graduated from the Santa Rosa police academy and 1 is a transfer from the San Jose PD.
Officer Joe Devine began at the MVPD a few weeks ago, and since then, Officer Devine has been doing a tremendous job. He graduated from the academy where he was supported by MVPD staff.
Officer Christopher DeLaTorre graduated from the academy last week and was also supported by MVPD staff. He just began working in the field this week and has been doing a great job so far.
Officer Tyler Preston is a transfer from SJPD and we are extremely lucky to have him join us. He will be starting his field training soon and we are looking forward to seeing him do great things.
