Mayor Urban Carmel, Councilmember Caroline Joachim, CERT volunteer Leo Coppeta, City Hall staff member Michelle Terrell, and canine resident Satchmo Thomas gathered in front of City Hall on Thursday, October 19 to practice Drop, Cover, and Hold On during the 2023 Great Shakeout

The world’s largest earthquake drill gives Mill Valley residents the chance to practice protecting themselves from the potential hazards of strong shaking or falling objects during a major earthquake.
