The City of Mill Valley is working jointly with other local cities, towns and the County of Marin to develop a toolkit that can be used by each local jurisdiction to customize and refine their Multi-Family and Mixed-Use Design and Development Standards. This project, referred to as the "Objective Design and Development Standards (ODDS) project", is currently in the information sharing and collection phase.
Please tell us what you think! We are interested in hearing from you about several different types of Multi-Family and Mixed-Use buildings in Marin. Please watch the short video to learn about the Objective Design and Development Standards project. Then, complete the online survey to share your input and thoughts on various examples of Multi-Family and Mixed-Use buildings in Marin County.

***Mill Valley Residents: be prepared to tell us about your favorite Multi-Family or Mixed-Use Building in Mill Valley. So, before taking the survey, take a drive or walk around town and make note of the address.***
Note: If either of the links above do not work, go to the County website below to access the video and survey.
Next Steps
Later this fall, consultants will present additional materials and the draft toolkit for City Planners to share with the local community for additional input and review. Through the public hearing process, Planning Commission will develop a series of recommendations for City Council's consideration as part of the formal approval and adoption process.
